U.S. Constitution 225th Anniversary Celebration

October 2, 2012

Both of these pictures were taken of George Livingston and Gary Timmons with Independence Hall (old Pennsylvania State House) in the background during PSSAR’s 225th Anniversary Celebration of the U.S. Constitution. Over 100 SAR Color Guardsmen took part in a parade across the mall from Independence Hall to the welcome center about three blocks away. The men were led by fife & drum and bag pipers. Twelve of the 13 original colonies were represented as well as 21 states from as far away as California, Texas, and Florida.
